Evidence and boundaries
What this is
An educational conversation aid. It helps two adults describe their own experience and agree one practical step. It is not therapy, medical advice, diagnosis, a validated assessment, a screening instrument or treatment.
This exercise has not been clinically validated. The sources below support general background education. They do not validate this exercise, and no clinical review, user testing or outcome evaluation has been carried out.
What can reasonably be said
Perimenopause can affect sleep, mood, daily life and sexual desire. This exercise cannot establish what is causing any individual's changes, because many other things affect sleep, patience and closeness. Persistent or worrying changes deserve review by a health professional.

How your answers are handled
- Your responses are held only in the memory of the page you are using. Refreshing, resetting or leaving the page clears them.
- Nothing you type is written to local storage, cookies, a database, a log, a web address, analytics or email. Nothing is sent to an AI service.
- Copy, download and print are deliberate actions you take. Copies you make live outside this exercise, and from then on you are responsible for where they go.
- Hosting and network services process ordinary technical requests, such as page loads. We cannot promise complete anonymity, that no data exists anywhere, any compliance certification, or that your browser history will be erased.
- There are no accounts, no child accounts, and no device-to-device syncing.
